get history values from device

Question

Posted

developer question:

how I can get history values for a device (temperature/humidity/etc) programmatically (via REST api, of cause).

notice: I am lazy! I do not want periodically poll my devices! I want to get values by From - Into via single query.

noteice2: yes, I know about /fibaro/en/consumption/temperature.html endpoint in UI.I am gonna go build my own theme park with mahjong and geishas :D

thanks!

Hi 10der,

Probably best to post in the Developer forum next time ;-).  However, you can get the historic temperatures for a device using the API, but, as far as I know, not the historic humidity.  Here's an example of how to do this in a scene:

Please login or register to see this code.

Take a look at the docs page for more info (http://<FibaroIP>/docs/#!/consumption/getTemperatureFromTo).

You can also get the room temperatures using a similar format.

Good luck with the theme park!
