Stand Alone operation HC2

Hi,

I've just updated to 4.110 and puzzled by the fact that I need access to my HC2 from the outside. It seems that the Fibaro app on my iPad is now 'much' slower hence my observation. It could also be demonstrated to enable/disable network access. The rational for me to change from a cloud based home automation was the factor of 'stand-alone' ( being accessable within my LAN only). Before the update I had all access through my firewall to the HC2 blocked.

 

any suggestions?

Hi, Sorry, but I don't follow you. I just disabled remote access on the HC2 and could still get access to it via my VPN.

Do you mean access through static IP or hostname + NAT in your router?

The question was possible a bit confusing. The question is rather simple: why can I not anymore use my HC2 not as before. If I disconnect myself from the network (switching my cable off) while having a full finctional LAN (homemetwork) the app op the Pad does not connect to my HC2 anymore. Only when I'm fully connected it's working.

just remove the gateway in you're hc2, then you can use the apps within you're home

i did that,

and i unsubscribed to all the mail i get from fibaro
