What trigger needed for manual scene

Question

Posted

I want to write a graphic blocks scene that is only run manually or called from another scene.  What should I put in the trigger part? (It doesn't seem possible to have no trigger).

You could use a time triggered date in the past, or just a global that you create for this. :)

OK thanks for your help.  The problem with the former (date in the past) is that I can't then turn off "Start when Home Centre starts" and I may not want the scene to run on startup.  I'll try using a dummy variable.  Thanks.

I'm usign conditions, that cannot happen. For example if temperature outside is 99999 °C. Or just select scene as manual in general settings of scene.

well, I've seen so many bugs in the weather monitoring that 99999 degrees could even be a real case :-D
