Reset Motion Sensor

ChrisR

Question

Hello,

i recentley sold my hc2 unit as I am looking at getting some of the HomeKit devices.

i have a motion sensor and smoke detector which I would like to sell but did not remove them from the home Center. Will they work ok if I reset them using the button and/or will there be any problems trying to add to a new system?

thanks

Just do the "remove device" routine on the new system and "add device" afterwards. This works even if the device has been paired with another unit earlier.
