Question

Hi,

I have a strange issue with the Popp KFOB-C that I just got.

Please login or register to see this link.

I've set it up according to the information in this guide

Please login or register to see this link.

and therefore I now have these parameters set (sorry for the Swedish language in the interface, but I am sure you can make out what is what :-))

Please login or register to see this attachment.

Now, I really think that either one of these scenes should get me a printout in the interface:

a)

b)

but I get nothing when I press the buttons.

What am I missing???

I don't have this device, but I want to take a long shot: set parameters 11 to 14 to 8 and wake up the device. After it ttok the parameters, please do a soft reconfigure. According to my manual, that does the follwing:

"Activation of central scenes (parameter 11...14=8, default). (...) Pushing a button and releasing a button send a certain command to the central controller using the lifeline association group. This allows reacting both on button push and button release. This mode implements communication patterns 6 but requires a central gateway supporting
Z-Wave Plus."

Teh try this scene. I put in TWO id's because in your original post you seem to use these two id's... that's either wrong or you own two such devices.

Please login or register to see this code.

Also, on 4.111 you might have a nice GUI to add simple reactions (start scene/ turn on-off devices, ...)

I hope this helps!

  • Actually, I got it working. Well, close to anyway. I added the controller to all of the device's association groups, and that did the trick.

Well, at least partly. I could then get scene commands from all buttons, but they would never be totally reliable. 1 in 4 commands would be caught by the controller, and sometimes only after a long delay. Very unreliable, and frustrating. so I decided to return it.
