New Message Hub Scene (looking for beta tester)

Hi,

I'm looking for somebody to help me beta test a Message Hub Scene I've been working on.

The person should have the sonos-http-api running and having pushover as well would be an advantage but not absolutely necessary

I'm just looking for 1 or perhaps 2 volunteers

 

a rough description of the scene is as follows

 

Message Hub 1.0

-- Send notifications via notification services (configurable between pushover, @jompa68 allinone, hc2email, hc2popup with default service/title and service/title/subtitle override)
-- Send notifications to TTS configurable to zone/player level (only sonos http-api at the moment)
-- TTS messages and Alerts that fail due to internet down or sonos-http-api down will be sent to fibaro popup notifications
-- Message notifications will queue if no internet is available and queue will unload to default notification service when internet is next available
-- TTS announcements will Queue during "House mode = AWAY" and will unload when next arrive home ("House mode = HOME)

Hey frank, I don't use pushover. I do have limited time atm so not sure how helpful I can be.... But I would like to help if no-one else volunteered..

P.s. Does it also respect Sleep state? So not blowing out messages in the middle of the night?

At the moment it doesn't respect sleep state for either notifications or TTS. I had thought about including it but thought that people might be interested in some message notifications such as alarm, etc but perhaps TTS being queque overnight might be a good idea, especially if it can be enabled/disabled

Maybe an other idea, I use the TTS to announce if CO2 levels are high and when they're back to normal. May be if it's possible make a notification cancelable by higher ranked (i.e CO2 high and then back to normal) so only the later is send/ spoken.

 

I use Tasker on all my android phones/ tablets, and use the autoapps plugin to send information from the HC2 or run some task on the tablet.

Code to send (local) looks something like this:

at the moment the hub is just meant to be a centralized way to route messages generated by scenes or vd 

I envisage the logic you refer to above would reside in a scene and use the hub to send the alert somewhere..

Nope, I forgot to mention it's a vd-button. I have a big VD that has it's buttons pushed by scenes to indeed send info to my tablets.
