Dear all

This is the second time in 14 days I rebooted my HC2 and it stayed on "Starting services". First time (no led was blinking), support reacted quickly remotely and restarted my HC2 . This time (4 leds was blinking), they reacted quickly again ( It is important to mention that) but they can't logged on remotely. They said it could be an hardware issue with the internal disc. So I restarted my HC2 from the on/off and it works fine now. I asked support to check my HC2 once it has restarted. They cleaned some parts of the database but according to them, the error will occur again because it could be a internal disc issue that could have an impact on my database. This get me down. They suggest to rebuild my system to reset my database without being sure my internal disc was ok. And obviously, they can' check my disc remotely.

So now I delegated many actions to my HC2, I wonder what I could do if my HC2 failed ? I think we expect from a such system to be reliable (I agree that hardware can fail too) or at least to be easy to repair. I think we could be able to change some parts of the system (mainly this internal disk) when it is out of warranty and restore the configuration without sending the box in Poland. Preventive maintenance could be possible to. We know hardware can failed so it should be possible to change this disc before waiting it crached. In fact, many "critical" actions are managed by the box (like heating, swimming pool) so we can't wait the box 2 weeks in winter. Else I will have to manage my heating manualy or installing my old scheduler.  And it is the case for many other actions.

So today, I wonder what to do !!!  Rebuilt all my system ? very long to do and in that case, why I couldn't check what other home automation propose when the system crash ? My expectations have evolved and this part is for me a very critical point.
