Hi all,

I ordered the Single Switch 2 (and Double Switch 2) - but unfortunately they just do not fit into the installation socket - it's just the 45mm one. Is there any (non Fibaro) wall switch alternative, which combines the feature of Z-Wave receiver and switching contact (maybe even without Z-Wave being online)?

I would just change the whole switch if there is one existing which combines the same features?

Regards,

Andy

im in the process of remodeling our home and we're adding the vitrum wall switches with z-wave.  They might be something you're interesting in looking into.

    thanks a lot, they both look very nice... actually, as I might not change all switches, I think I will look for something more "traditional" like

     - the house was built less than 5 years ago so I don't want to change all switches :)

    hi @AndyAA

    Another option would be the TKB range

    They do switches and dimmers, single and double

    for the double - the switch has one actuator and a second switch that can be associated

    I have them all upstairs and they look great and work great.

    only downsize of that the dimmers are 'leading edge' which limits the bulbs to incandescent or halogen

    @AutoFrank thanks a lot, I'll have a look if they're available in white too... For now, I think I'll start just ordering one of the Z-Wave.me switches which should work too... For example:

    Please login or register to see this link.

    I assume all switches are sensors and "actors" as well, so I don't need to install anything additional to actually turn the lights on if a signal is received.

    And, I assume all Z-Wave switches only work, if either the Z-Wave network is online or if a direct assignment has been configured between switch and light bulb (additional receiver for light bulb?) Or do the normal "mechanical" switching too, without z-wave?

    @AndyAA
