Question

Posted

Hello everyone, I live in Brazil and got my HC2 here and it's components, but when I went on vacation to the US, I've found a motion sensor for sale and bought it.

I was not aware of the different frequencies from region to region and I found out that the eye I bought works on 908,4mhz and my HC2 works on 921,4mhz.
So, I'm wondering if there's a way to modify the motion sensor to operate on the frequency I need, it could be by changing a jumper or an integrated circuit.

Is it possible?

Thank you.

did you tried to include it already? give it a try, there are for sure different saw filters (to block non-allowed freq.) on the zwave module pcb, but they not sharp enough, so you might get luck (but with reduced range).

    hey tinman, thanks for replying.

I've tried to include with no success, tried it with a very short distance like 5cm away from HC2. No luck .

I was hoping to be able to change its frequency then.
