Fibaro WALL PLUG

MDC

Question

Hello,

Someone has any idea how to setup a scene for wall plug like in Fibaro advertising? For example to send notification if module is on for more than....eg. 2 hours?

And a scene to send notification if voltage drop?

Thank you

Hi @Mediacut,

This scene can be adapted to send message if wall plug is On for some preset time. Its original role is to send message when some appliance start and/or stop running, but can be also added timer to send message for how long plug is turned on or for how long is power above some level:

For second question can you be more specific? What do you mean by voltage drop? Do you mean power loss, or lower power consumption of the appliance than it should be? Usually voltage drop means that voltage has dropped more than 13% from normal voltage supply eg. 230V what can be problem for some appliances but it does's mean complete loss of power.

Anyway, power consumption of some appliance can be monitored by smart plug, but voltage drop or power loss can't. To monitor power loss you will need to DIY sensor made up from one relay and one battery sensor like door/window sensor. Something like this:

In that project I used Universal sensor, but can be easily done with door/window sensor.
