Check this..

GGFL there are several ways your exsisting 3 way circuit may have been wired, sometimes the light load wire goes directly from the remote switch to the light fitting. If you are unsure of this you need to use a electrictian. Also I believe a change to push button switches is a better solution but this would mean reconfiguring your exsisting wiring.

    Thanks Jamie!

I saw the post you are referring but was under the impression it would apply for virtual switches...

I have a standard 2x 3-ways switches configuration as in the illustration below.

Should S2 be connected as well?

    S2 is not used here.

Yes your drawing as I suggested last post shows the load wire leaving the last switch box so this makes wiring this way with rocker switches impossible with how many wire cores you have. You could get a electrician to pull in another wire or you could  use push button momentary switches and wire it as photo suggests.

The two "L" terminals are linked  within the unit.

Also sorry dont understand your "virtual devices" comment?  CAREFUL OTHER USERS, USA 110 V WIRE COLOURS.

    does this help?

I was thinking, with your comment "virtual switches".

You  could use S2, if you had use for another switch at the second switch box ,

You  could put a second push button on that plate and then progam this to operate any other devices in your system.

It would go between "l" and "S2"
