HC Lite Fibaro Button with Lighting

Hi Guys,

Im just wiring a cinema/Games room, I have a wall that ideally would need a switch but cabling is a no go, My lighting will be controlled by FGD-212, Can I use a button to control this light?

I dont want to buy one and find it wont work cheers

Yes you could use a button or a window/door sensor can also be configured and wired to a standared push button wall switch plate.

both of these can trigger your FGD 212

    Also check out fibaro " elearning " platform its very good and under sold for new users

    re fibaro products range instructions etc its under the  knowlage tab at top of forum header.

    Cheers i'll check that out, I have a request into Fibaro uk for a trade account so I can try some courses, and maybe move into home automation a bit, as I currenty install cctv & security,

    but I have not heard from them, so sent them a harsh email just now :-)

    The Elearning is where you need to start. Its a E course that has tests at the end of each product.

    If you want to go this way you need to invest in some product for you own home so you can play around with it and not on your first jobs.

    Trust me Ive been there.

    Fibaro is a great product to get into but like anything it has its advantages and disadvantages and its good to know these before the pressure of installing for payment.

    I think Zwave products are proberly the fucture off home automation because of there flexibility and cost benefits.
