I am new to LUA and fibaro.  Basically I am writing the following script to turn on light when motion is detected but turn off where there is no motion.  it like only the turn on part is working.

--[[
%% autostart
%% properties
5 value
%% weather
%% events
%% globals
--]]

local startSource = fibaro:getSourceTrigger();
if (
 ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(5, "value")) > 0 )
or
startSource["type"] == "other"
)
then
    fibaro:call(36, "turnOn");
  elseif
     ( tonumber(fibaro:getValue(5, "value")) == 0 )
   then
        fibaro:call(36, "turnOff");

 end

You are able to turn On light by running scene manually, but if motion sensor was not breached then light will stay on until is breached and change state back to safe. This is the most basic scene to control lights with motion sensor and same behavior is achievable through associations without needing single line of code!

If you want more sophisticated light control with motion sensor then search through this forum and you will find some very nice solutions, from simple ones to very powerful ones!
