Vitrual device HTTP command

Question

Posted

Hi

How can I send http command to device using virtual device in HCL to http://user:pass@IP/cgi-bin/scada-remote/request.cgi?m=json&r=grp&fn=write&alias=8/1/7&value=true

Is there any documentation or manual about integration of HCL/HC2 and http?

Thanks in advance! :)

Thanks for the replay. The links are very useful. But I still can not control device. May be miss something. I try to encode username and password and replace in example but nothing happened when I press the button on HCL.

Please can you generate the string for me? url is:

    http://remote:[email protected]/cgi-bin/scada-remote/request.cgi?m=json&r=grp&fn=write&alias=8/1/7&value=true

    Hi
VD to automatically restart I use HCL's ip address: xx.xx.x.xx and port 80
VD for Heating / AC panel holiday mode and Camera I use the IP address: 127.0.0.1 and TCP port: 11111
It is very important that there are space where there should be a space and vice versa.:-)

Whether you should use the "Get" "Put" or "Post" I do not know, but try different.:-)
