Fibaro Finder not working on Windows 10 Creators Update (solved)

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I've installed today windows 10 creators update (rtm 10.0.15063) and the latest Fibaro Finder. However, scan is not working anymore. I've restored firewall settings to default, re-launched Finder, got the firewall confirmation popup, did set "allow", double checked if Finder has been enabled for all network types but still the Finder remains empty when scanning. When i disable firmware, still the same result, any other scanner is working with no issues. On Win 10 Creators Update preview versions finder was working as expected.

Someone else here with same issue?

I had this issue when i had virtual network adapter (or interface) on for Control4 remote connection via Composer Pro. I disabled it to leave only WiFi active ant it's working for me. But i do not have insider version of Windows 10.

I do not mention wire adapter, because i do not using it these days.

@T.Konopka, can you forward issue to developers with Fibaro finder not finding HC units on the network with virtual network adapters running?

By virtual network adapter i mean the vmware network adapter, Network adapter for Virtualbox and similar one.
