Scenes - significance of the on/off button on GUI?

Question

Posted

Can someone tell me what is the significance of the on/off switch on the scene below? I get that the play ( > ) below it will run the sceene, but I can't work out what the on/off will do. Most of my scenes are off but will still trigger etc and running scenes it doesnt always appear to be on.

Hi @Cameleon

I think it's equivalent to the disabling option so if it's off it won't trigger from snotjer scene or vd but you can manually trigger it using the play button

    I see, some investigation may be required here then as some scenes arent behaving as expected. Probably my lua code though :oops:

    on = automatic trigger

    off = manual trigger.

    While I don't get the logic of calling it on/off, it does make sense in terms of how some of my scenes behaved having them set to 'off'. Was displaying this something in one of the newer updates? I don't remember seeing it before.

    Thanks for the clarification chaps. 8-)
