I made a Virtual Device with a button on the main screen to read several settings of a HUE light.

The purpose is to determine the settings that are used for the different scenes by the HUE app of Philips and rebuild it in a Lua mood scene inside my HC2.

Of course, it is possible to use the debug screen within the VD but it would be easier to do it on the main screen.

Another possibility is to write text to the text line of the VD only is that line very small.

    Hi @Brian

You can write to the lower section of the VD on the Main Web UI using the fibaro:log("") command (same format as fibaro:debug

If you have more than one fibaro:log command in the VD, it will 'scroll' the output

If you select a main/favourite and have a 'wide' VD you can fit quite a lot of text there.

    hope the helps

I was aware of the fibaro:log command. Widening the VD was a good tip, works for me now.

    Thank you AutoFrank for responding!
