Question
CelticWebs 2
I am new to Fibaro, I've been a Vera user for the last couple of years and during a special offer I bit the bullet and bought a Fibaro Home Centre 2 a couple of days ago.
I shod have done more homework before purchasing. There seems to be a lot that the Vera could do via plugins that just doesn't exist on the Fibaro. Either that or I'm not seeing how the features work with Fibaro.
My main issue to start with is the Vera had a plugin that combined a sensor and a relay as a door lock. I use this on my garage doors and gates. If the sensor says it's open, the lock shows as open pretty simple really I suppose but I can't work out how to do it via Fibaro.
Can anybody suggest how I could achieve the same function on fibaro please?
Put simply, I have an open / close sensor and a relay that trips for a second or so which are combined together as a lock. If the sensor who's open, the lock will show as open, If I send an open command, nothing will happen. If however I send a lock command, it trips the relay for a second or so to trigger the door / gate to close. Once closed, the sensor notifies the lock icon that it is closed. I hope that makes sense.
Is this possible on Fibaro please?
