Question
Guest aj84
Hi all,
Recently the system has become possessed again - it is entirely possible it is down to over-sensitive Fibaro motion sensors or it could be a faulty dimmer2/relay module or a scene code that has gone wrong but essentially I'm finding one room that has a dimmer 2 module mysteriously turn on several times throughout the night and another relay switch turning that light on randomly.
Looking at the event log, the motion + dimmer 2 seems quite obviously - it seems to be detecting motion - quite clever given this is a locked room and yet it happens throughout the night but the relay does not detect any motion - and even if it did, the scene installed only allows the light to turn on once it's "night".
What the event panel can't seem to tell you is whether a light turned on by an app (ie: did someone in the house do it? Did Alexa do it because of something that was said?), a scene (maybe I've not used the correct variables), or a faulty module in which case I would have expected some sort of manual switch on/off image or text to say it was done because of either someone doing it, or a short in the module.
or am I missing something?
Thanks!
