Aeotec Siren (AEO_DSD31) reacts as lighting

Azkikr

Question

Fibaro recognized and installed my Siren as Lighting. It works perfectly. The only issue is that when I turn on all the ligthing in de Fibaro app or through Homekit, all lighting devices are turned on and as such also the two Sirens.

How do I exclude these items? Do I give them another type, or does that screw up other things?

In "controlled device" in advanced settings, try "other device"

you can always change it back if it doesnt work

Just change your devise type from lighting to Other and all will be fine.

  • Thanks. Didn't figure out it was that easy!

    Changed it and it works.

Edit: how do I mark this as solved?
