Hi,

My HC2 network is comprised of more than 120 physical devices, so it is quite large. More than 90% of them are Fibaro Modules.  For quite a while i have a big issue with some devices turning ON or OFF without reason - specifically some Fibaro Wall Plugs and Roller Shutters 2.

I have checked all the associations for every device in the network, all the scenes, everything i could think of.  Reconfigured the devices in question, nothing.  Still from time to time, not at the same time, not the same device, it turns ON or OFF without any scene triggering or anything. Range is not a problem and even more one roller shutter that does this is like 1m from HC2, others are at 30m with multiple repeaters in between.

I have even set up a bit of LUA to let me know when one of those devices changes state and send a push notification. I jump then on the event panel hoping to see a pattern. Still nothing.

Could anyone give me some ideas of how to get to the bottom of this?

Thank you

thks Jim.  Unless there are some associations that don't show up in the GUI then i don't have any. Would it be possible to see if there are any associations active for any device using LUA ?

Like I said, I thankfully don't have this problem but knew about the existence of that topic. The problem there is caused by rgbw units.

Do you have them in your system?

Also there are some LUA scrips in there that might help.

Hope you figure out what's causing your problems.

    Good luck!

Happy to report that the ghost did not appear anymore in the last 2 days. Hopefully it is gone for good.  What i did was to go into each device in question at the association menu and make an association with another device, save and then delete that association and save again, this was rewriting the association table twice (even if there was nothing showing in the gui).  Will keep an eye on it and report if the ghost appears again.

Hope that has done the trick, please post an update if it stays the same.

    Hi @Momos,

Glad that you solved ghost problem. So, it seems that there can be some ghost associations that are not visible but still are in the system. I have 90 physical devices and never experienced any ghost activities, except if I caused them, but it is good to know where to look if they come to bug system. Thanks!
