Firmware update with third-party controler ?

Hi

 

I have bought few Fibaro modules (smoke sensor, move sensor, remote...) that I use with Home Assistant system in ZWave mode and it's great ! I'm concerned about firmware updates of these modules. Is it needed to have a Controler from Fibaro to update them ?

For now yes. I think Fibaro did not gave firmwares to their devices to other controller manufacturers.

ah oki thanks so no way to update their devices without their own controler  Hope they change that soon so they can be updated even on systems with other(s) controler(s)...
