Fibaro Crash

Hello, 

 

Today I was adding fibaro switch into HC2. During adding fibaro switch 2 into HC2, HC2 freezed and after I restarted it, it was without respond. I did recovery, HC2 will turn on but if i put back any back-up files, it will process, last three LED will shine, system is looking good but nothing works and I can´t get into it. I am angry because of Fibaro and because I have a lot devices on it and I can´t count on it. I think Fibaro is just an expensive toy. I have a feeling that you can´t even breath around it. I have no idea what I do with it.

If I update it to V 4-130 on clean, it will start. When I put back-up, ERROR and Fibaro doesn´t start. I have to do everything again. Good job, Fibaro developers, keep it up!

try an older backup and it will work. most likely the backup you try is corrupted.

Hi @pepko,

 

I understand exactly how you feel after this freezing problem. Please have a nice beer and cool your head then restore backup just not the last one but if you have one previous. You will probably loose last what you did but it will work after that. I had also two times almost complete disaster, once devices were deleted from system for no obvious reason and second time all my included devices became not configured, but restoring backup solved problem.

Hi,

In the end I managed to repair it with the last back-up on the 7 try but all icons are gone. Not a single icon was recovered. So I have to put them back again. But I´m glad that Fibaro is working again.
