Simple LUA code for motion trigger light

Question

Posted

Hi guys,

Anyone mind to share how should I put it in LUA coding for simple scene like

if Variable=Away
AND
Motion sensor 1 breach
or
Motion sensor 2 breach
then
turn on Lights 1

so that the scene will only run when I set the variable to "away" mode. Recently HC2 seems like having some problem, the block scene doesnt perform as it supposed to at times.

Thanks in advance!

When i added this to my HC2 with 2 of my "Aeotec Multisensor 6" and 1 of my "Dimmer 2" lamp in the "Block" scene and then converted it to LUA based scene it gave me this:

--[[
%% properties
53 value
15 value
%% weather
%% events
%% globals
away
--]]

local startSource = fibaro:getSourceTrigger();
if (
 ( tonumber(fibaro:getGlobalValue("away")) == tonumber("0")  and  tonumber(fibaro:getValue(53, "value")) > 0  or  tonumber(fibaro:getValue(15, "value")) > 0 )
or
startSource["type"] == "other"
)
then
    fibaro:call(23, "turnOn");
end

And my different devices are:

0) Variable "away" with parameter "0" (i personally would use my iPhone with GPS instead, but if you wanna have the variables instead i used it in this example)

1) Aeotech Multisensor 6 in my office: motion-sensor (ID: 15)

2) Aeotech Multisensor 6 in my hallway: motion-sensor (ID: 53)

3) Fibaro Dimmer 2 in my entrance: ceiling_lamp (ID: 23)

I hope that this is the answer that you are looking for, otherwise i´ll be happy to help you out further (i´m really new to the forums but i have been using the Fibaro stuff for a while now so i´m kinda new to the LUA coding because i have been using the "blocks" scenes all the time.. so i´m learning the stuff right now)
