Fibaro Swipe False Positives Under Worktop

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar issues with the Fibaro Swipe installed under a worktop. (I found one search result about behind a plasterboard wall but not a worktop)

I have a granite worktop and I've taken the swipe out of most its casing and connected it via USB to a power supply (see pics). The problem is when I wipe down my worktop with a cloth etc it sometimes triggers the swipe. Maybe its just the way it is and I need to make the swipes more "complex" (right now I just have simple left/right/up/down ones)

I've highlighted approx where it is under the worktop.

I've turned off power saving mode in the swipe (Param 6 to "2"). Its constantly connected to power as you can

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Andy

hmm...Yeah, you`re right, you better need to make the swipes more "complex", most likely this`s a flaw in the Swipe itself and not in the table top. I think the developers will answer this question for you. Btw, since you touched on the subject of countertops - I also had a granite one before I bought this

, how long has it been with you? Since when I bought it I was counting on durability and long life, but it lasted 4 years and started chipping in different places. I must have had a fake, now I think so, or is granite not as durable as they say it is? Write something about your granite countertop, maybe it needed some special care?
