[solved] Single Switch 2/Double Switch 2 Pairing with Vera Plus

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Update after a bit more fiddling:

I've now paired the Double Switch 2 and Single Switch 2 to my Vera Plus gateway. Only after reading about Z-Wave secure and the need to put two devices really close together for key exchange I tried to put the switches right next to my Vera Plus gateway for pairing. That worked in the end.

Hi,

I'm started relatively recently with home automation. I own a Vera Plus gateway, a couple of Fibaro Roller Shutter (2) modules and recently bought a Single Switch 2 and a Double Switch 2. And while all Roller Shutters paired successfully and without any glitches with the Vera Plus I cannot get neither the Single nor the Double Switch to pair. For users of the Vera Plus, I'm trying to add them as a Generic Z-Wave Device using either the (Press three times) S1 switch or the B-Button on the Single/Double Switch itself. Neither leads to any recognition within the Vera Plus.

Is somebody successfully using this combination and could guide me with the steps? Thank you!

Best regards,

Magnus
