Question

Posted

Hi,

I am looking to purchase a UPS to make sure my critical devices (HC2, NAS, Pi, etc) are powered down gracefully in the event of a power disruption.

I was wondering what people use and how it is setup and if it is suiting your needs

any input appreciated

Thanks

I have an Eaton 3S 700
Only my Synology 1815+ NAS is yet on it, I got it because I had a raid 5 fail ones due to a power outage. It shuts down my NAS after 1 minute.

The HC2 will get on it when I have time to set a scene up for the shutdown.

Hello Everyone.

I personally use:
APC SMT1500IC
APC AP9630 management card
2 external 12V 45Ah gel batteries standing outside to increase battery life

Connected to
1 x 55" TV
1 x decoder
2 x network switch
1 x router
1 x fibaro

backup time about 8 hours with TV on.
