Moving and taking all with me

Hi guys, 

 

I need some advice: The big boss and budget holder (aka the wife) has decided it's time for a new house.

It's a complete renovation project so some of my devices will be in storage for a year or maybe more.

 

Now what is the best practise?

Everything is working atm, scenes VD's plugins ect.

-  Just recover and start all over and use my backed up scenes and VD's when the devices are back in place

-  Leave everything as is and just disable the scenes and let the devices be reported dead for a while

- Other??

Hi @jimicr,

 

In my opinion, i would go with dead devices, disabled scenes and disabled VDs. And i would make bakcup before shuting it down.

 

But you have to talk with big boss, if he wants gradual deployment of his devices (something will work earlier than other devices) or deploy whole Fibaro at once.
