The fact we have not heard about it, nor seen it at ay exhibitions where FIbaro took place should say enough.. :-)

I'd suggest to look for alternative solutions; ie a regular doorbell with a universal sensor, or a doorbird for example, should you require video.

(which has quite a nice api, but audio through Fibaro's video intercom is not possible yet).

Fibaro should seriously consider developing a plugin for the doorbird, to have it supported as video intercom.

Would make up for the intercom disaster a lil bit.. ;)

to be honest you can actually do yourself with a Universal Binary Sensor and any door bell. i have attached my UBS to Ring Video Doorbell and set it up to take pics from my cameras.

you can also use that as a trigger to play a doorbell chime on the Sonos speakers aswell....

Video is about how it is call and control gate. Not about this device being a heater itself.

Video seems rather creditable as there is a code "FGIC" displayed on the iPad on top of it. Any idea how it is being powered?

I have some experiences with other door cams and generally motion-based ones tend to drain battery very very fast (e.g. 4xAA batteries in 4-6 weeks) for apartment units.

Not battery powered. That is for sure.

Hmmm...Video mentioned 'Intercom' and '2 Relays' and seems turnable dial to 'Unlock'. Interesting as you may be right it is not battery-powered if it is to control relays to perform unlocking.

I am 100% sure in that one.
