I have recently purchased the Fibaro Home Center 2, and linked my sensors to the HC. There is however a problem when naming a device. This is what I have tried:
- From the device panel I click on the wrench symbol to open the settings for the specific device.
- I type the name "test" into the Name field
- I click the save button on the right panel
When I have clicked the save button, an error accours and the loading screen loops. I am also unable to assign a room to the device from here. I have however found a workaround for that (Drag device into the room). I am using Chrome and have attached an image of the console log.
The error only accours on devices that are parents / childs. I have a switch device that is working properly. So 1 sensor is listed as 4 seperate devices in the device panel, with one of them beeing the parent device. I have tried editing both parent and child devices, but error still accours.
I am looking for a fix or a workaround to rename my devices. This is an absolute must for me, since I will have many devies in the future, and have to keep track of them all. I am running software version 4.056. I have tried updating the software, but get error 403: Access denied!. But I think this is an other problem.
This is really frustrating and have not given me a good first impression of the Fibaro system.
