Change Door/Window sensor connection, when setup with sticky label

Question

Posted

Hi there

Do any of you know of a solution where you can exclude and include the Fibaro Door/Window sensor, even though it is attached to the door, so I cannot click the tmp button on the back?

Are there any alternatives to this?

I would not want to remove the sensor from the door, as it is quite stock with the label attached.

Thanks

Soren

You can take the top of the main unit where the battery is held and press the button inside without removing it from the door. It is shown in the manual.

Thanks for replying. But does that not require both TMP buttons to be pressed? The one outside the case is not pressed because it is attached to the sticker with a whole in it.

Even so, the TMP switch should be pressed! That is the whole idea of the tamper switch ;-)

But indeed, after some time, the sticky tape may no longer keep the device firmly on the door/window, so I advise you to press the battery firmly, then click on the switch inside the sensor.
