Missing Icons, Options and Buttons HC2 v4

I seem to have a very bizzare issue that has wasted a good part of a day, i seem to have a web gui that has missing buttons, icons and sections. So for example i can add sections but i cannot add rooms, i can go to add users but i cannot save the new user. This is logged in as the super user.

 

So i go through the recovery and go back to 4.063 or something in the far past and they are still missing. Upgrading to 4.1, 4.130 or beta versions (number version might be off) and this does not solve the issue.

 

I was with fibaro technical support for over 5hrs today and have seen him run all sorts of commands as root, patch builds apply hotfixes etc but nothing seems to return the missing items.

 

I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue as it worked perfectly fine until i added a 50th room to one of my 6 sections. 

 

attached is an example of a missing add room after the system got flattened and firmware flashed to older versions. 

 

Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all show the same results. Browser cache cleared etc. using incognito or privacy mode also does not work.

 

Fibaro technical support after so many hours said it was a manufacturing fault and that the issue was highly complex.

 

After all the messing around my recoveries etc are all useless now and i dont have a clue how i can export these as i do not fancy adding all my devices, rooms, sections, icons, config back again

Sounds like you have a weird issue alright... Could 50 be done hidden limit you hit ....

 

Fibaro support normally do an initial back up before they work on a system. It may be worth checking your back up lidt for this or checking with them if they did this. This would at least get you back to where you were prior to their troubleshooting 

 

Failing this you could try and use the hc2 toolkit.

It's an seperate app that was created by a user on the French forum and runs on either Mac or pc. It allows you to exports most aspects of your current setup including rooms, scenes, virtual devices, globals, etc .

It can't be used for hc2 recovery and is generally used to keep a copy of your setup if you need to recreate manually.

 

If this sounds helpful search this forum for Hc2 toolkit and you should find a download link.
