1.- Yes, however HC2 is not ZW+ but can communicate with ZW+

2.- Yes, however you are not able to transfer it to other HC2. So in case of faulty HC you are screwed

3.- Sorry, don't have exeprience

However I think its a pretty solid system with some bugs that need to be fixed, but you can do pretty everything. Didnt find alternative solution that would be capable to fully replace HC2 yet.

I'm using Fibaro in the last 4-5 years without any issue and I don't have any switch in my house. Entire house controlled by Fibaro.

Hi

I'm not sure this is 100% correct. I thought I read somewhere of a user that used a recovery stick from a faulty hc2 to setup a new hc2.

Maybe with some complicated workaround that regular user wont be able to do. So far its not a feature of HC. Recovery stick is binded to its specific HC as far as I know.

sure, i could tell you in detail lot of things about HC2, e.g. how the encryption work, how to force production mode to enable migration, when one of the other xxx great new products will get released, but honestly you know exactly that i can't, I'm in few days on IFA with Fibaro and wish to get beer for free, and not ECT :-o

Hello guys!

1. Fibaro is Z-Wave plus ready. Many of our modules are Z-Wave Plus certified, and Home Center is also compatible with it.

2. We provide some back up solutions for our HC. However, we are working on an even better solution.

3. Working with third-party devices is also tricky as some of our updates, or theirs, may broke our compatibility and interoperability.
