Sonos in scene

Question

Posted

Hi guys,

I'm trying to create a scene in LUA for waking up where my lights go on and my Sonos starts to play a specific playlist or radiostation.

The lighting part is up and running, but I can't seem to get the Sonos to start.

Anyone got an idea what the LUA code is?

Hi @Snaad

Could you describe how you currently interact with your Sonos system. Is it through the Remote VD or the sonos-http-api ?

Do you have virtual devices for each player ?

    Hi @AutoFrank,

I installed the Sonos plugin:) I'm pretty much to this, so if I'm doing anything wrong, please do tell me so.

I've never used the Sonos plugin so I'm not sure

Could you post a screenshot of what the controls for the plugin look like ?

    Thanks

You could also just upload the image to the post itself.

I don't know much about plugins

You could try the lua pressButton command and seeing if that works...

You may be better moving to either the sonos-api ( running on rasspberry pi ) or the Remote vd as these are more flexible than the plugin.

    @Snaad

I wrote a tutorial on the sonos http-api

You'll find a link in my signature with install, setup and examples
