Device Name Length

Might not be the right topic. One of the long time 'bugs' ( as in bugs me of) for me is the limitation of the length of the name for a device.

Please can this be lengthen. Secondly when adding a device and you select a room. It would be good if the rest of the devices if room unassigned take on the first room selected on save.

 

I would love to see this being the process.

Add device

- What type of device (tick)

- Name for device

- Auto fill in from the template name - V(olts) name- A(amps), name- Temp etc.

- Auto fill in from the template the default status of, volts and amps to be hidden.

 

Save, then edit where required.

 

if the default icons available could be vastly improved. Be fantastic. I gave up when my icon kept being removed after upgraded.
