Hello, is there a way to change a broken module 1:1 to same model and preserve the IDs? So i have not to change it in used scenes and so on...

Thanks.

Hi @Radiohead,

Unfortunately, considering current setup of this procedure, it is impossible to preserve the ID.

Hi @Radiohead

Many people use atable of ID's stored in a global variable. The reference to this table is used in scenes and vd. If a device changes ID then you just make a change to this table and not in every scene.

The table is frequently called hometable and you can find a tutorial here about it...

    Hi AutoFrank,

thanks for the Hometable-Link. Yes i already thought about the idea to work with a module-database. Yours is very interesting. I'll try it and maybe rewrite my scenes.
