read and set global var in VD

Hi all,

 

I am trying to include a vacation setting in a HC lite.

As it does not support LUA, I need to find a way with a VD (i think?).

 

I need a 'something' where I can see on my HC lite what the current status of a variable is and something with which I can toggle it; ie. ' vacation'  on or off.

 

Anyone has any example, or already a working VD?

Hello @MaTi. check my cook book, You can use the heating scenes and VD as example. vacation works the same, just some interpretation.
