When I install the device, it doesn't appear in my app on my phone

Maybe there is something wrong with the HC2... When I install a wall plug or a Dimmer 2, they don't appear in my app on my phone. I push the learning mode on the HC2 and install the devices one by one. Nothing works

Could you explain and provide the exact sequence of your actions?

 

The app on your phone is opened and active while you add your device on Home Center via the browser? Maybe you need to reconnect to the HC to see those new devices.

 

Alternatively, you can try to click "Refresh network data" in Settings.

Are you using the super user account of your phone or are you using a regular user account? Devices are not made available to regular user accounts by default.

 

Go to access controls and enable them for the username for your phones account and hopefully it should be on your phone now

Maybe it is the local cache?.    In the settings of the app you have the option to refresh de network data.

    Hi @I.Srodka,

     

    The app is on, I push the HC2 in learning, I put the wall plug into the wall and wait. The Wall plug turns red for a moment. The phone app says that I've installed an device, but I can't see it. Even when I log into the HC2, there is nothing to see. I even tried to hold the button on the wall plug for 15 sec. The wall plug turns green and purple. 

     

    When I add a room in the phone app, I don't see it. But when I want to remove it, the room shows in the list of rooms!

     

    @fkruis, I tried that before a few times.

     

    @fat, I'm not sure what you mean. Can't find it in the phone. But I don't see any changes in the HC2 menu as well.

     

    How hard can it be?! :roll:

    You may need to triple click the B-button.

     

    So to sum up, you open your Home Center interface on your web-browser on your Mac or PC, you turn on learning mode and you triple-click B-button on your Wall Plug.

     

    When you plug it in the first time, it blinks with red because it informs you that it is not added to any HC.

    @NZ Kiwi you don't do this on your phone. You need to log into your HC sand go to configuration and then access rights. In this section click on the edit button next to your user account that you are using for your phone and then scroll down to edits access rights that is ject to devices

     

    Once you are in this section ensure that all devicesyou want access to are ticked and then save. Close your phone and and log back in again and see if it is working

    And the wall plugs are working! I even can see them on my phone. Tomorrow or thursday I'm going to try the dimmer 2. Keep you guys posted!
