Missing selectionmenu on consumption page

Reintjan

Question

When you go to consumption page and click on more on the energy panel on the next page the selectionmenu with devices is gone. Now it's not longer possible to select devices to see energy consumption

Hi @Reintjan,

We checked it on 4.136 beta and it's not a beta problem.

Have you tried to clear the cache in your browser. Alternatively, you can try incognito mode, different browser or different PC to check whether the problem still exists.

  • I cleared cache and history both in Safari browser on IOS ( aswell in private browsing and normal browsing) and also tried in Internet Explorer on a Windows 10 machine. In both ways the same, no selection menu on the left side...

Before update i used 4.130 and energy panel worked fine.

if you say it's not a beta problem, which way did you test this than?

Are you sure you cleared your browser cache properly? Do you really use Internet Explorer on Windows 10 or do you use Microsoft Edge?

We tested it on the latest stable iOS version on iPad:

  • Yes, i'm positive about using Internet Explorer (version 11). I don't use Edge because it's horrible. But i also have the same on my iPad with Safari.

I did some more testing, if i click on a device in the next screen i can see all settings of it and it also displays energy consumption. On the right is a button to go to Energy panel. Clicking on this button also leads to the page i send a screenshot of, no selection menu.

If energy panel at your sight is working correctly maybe it's the difference in setup or devices used which causes this problem. I'll be happy to give you access to my HCL to analyse if it helps. Let me know

  • Ok, someone at Fibaro support checked my HCL. They don't find the problem. So after i did some more testing.

I think 4.136beta and 4.140 have some compatibility issues with IOS 9.3.5 and Safari browser. Also I think there are some compatibility issues with Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10. This, I find a little strange because Windows 10 and IE 11 are the most recent versions.

Can anyone on this forum also do a check and confirm this issue?

    Hi @Reintjan,

I've submitted your issue (problem with Internet Explorer 11) to our developer team!

As far as Safari on iOS 9.3.5 is considered, please update your iOS.

    Hello!

I'm glad to announce that versions 4.160 and 4.162 on IE 11.850.15063.0 shows no signs of these problems!

    Cheers!
