Question

Hi guys,
Has anyone has got an underfloor/radiant heating system? These systems have a lot of inertia (what NEST calls time-to-temperature). Has anyone tried writing a code that would:
- look up a weather forecast for the outdoor temperature in ~6 hours from now
- set the underfloor heating flow temperature accordingly (e.g. let the floor cool down if the temperature is expected to rise or preemptively heat the floor if the temperature is expected to drop).
Overall, such algorithm would result in a much more stable house temperature.
Has anyone seen any attempts to use this approach in homes with underfloor heating? My heat pump is capable of using the current outdoor temperature and build a heating curve out of it, but it is unable to utilize forecasts...
