Fibaro swipe

I buy anew Fibaro swipe, I setup and all work fine, BUT, always  it’s is but, even wake up time is set to 3 hours, swipe automatically wakes up from 4 minutes, counted and show in HC2 that’s is awake.

I reset the device, I connect only to usb, I connect to battery and usb, same thing, from 4 in 4 minutes make a beep and wake up.

is near my bed and that noise make me cry.

 

Other strange thing I realize is that the swipe always go to sleep even is set to stay on all the time. I need to make a gesture to wakes up and then make a gesture to set an action.

 

Any suggestion? Or I send back?

I have two Swipes. First one was working nicely for almost a year without any unnecessary beeps. It is connected to USB power supply and was always ready to read swipes since it was not going to sleep. After upgrade to 4.140 it started to beep on every wake up and also it falls asleep. I just changed one of the parameters and will see what will be. I really hope that will continue to work perfectly as it was until upgrade to 4.140.

 

Another swipe never worked ok. I try to include it several times, replaced several different USB power supplies but it was persistent in beeping on every wake up. Of course it was also falling asleep no matter it was connected to USB and any combination of settings.

@Sankotronic, how do you use your swipe ?

 

I thought to get one but I did not invent any reason for it.

We use it to put house to sleep, to manually wakeup house if Alarm clock is turned off, to turn on/off our bed lights, to ask Angelina to tell us weather and to change radio station on our bedroom sonos speaker.

 

Other one we planned to use in kitchen to change value of global variables CookingState and MealState that control behavior of VSL scenes, to unlock our gate door, to open gate to also initiate Sleep or Awake etc. Unfortunately that one never worked properly so I replace it with Remotec ZRC-90 controller and that one is working great with 24 different actions it is perfect replacement for us that can't have Google Alexa.
