Names phones problems on Fibaro

Question

Posted

Hello,

I have a problem with my phones.

This concerns 2 branded phones and the same model.

It is impossible in a scene to know to which phone I want to send the notification, because they have exactly the same name "HUAWEI VKY-L09"

I succeeded in changing the name in the Fibaro interface using a script.

But when I launch the Fibaro application on my phone, it changes the name in the Desktop configuration.

VKY-L09 is the model number of my Huawei that I can not change in the phone.

And Fibaro Desktop to the laptop connection, understand the phone as a "HUAWEI VKY-L09"

The problem is that I have two phones that have the same name.

How to do ?

Could you post the code of this script?

We changed it with this code:

And it indeed is being replaced every time your app on the phone reconnects.

I have a few ideas about this issue in general:

1) Making a scene, which periodically (every 6 hours, 4 times a day), so more or less should cover your needs and every time you want to make a scene, you will be able to distinguish them:

2) You can also try to TURN ON the option "Keep awake":

3) Alternatively, you can just run the first code only before making a block scene.
