This is happening to me also.   Not a very professional solution to need to delete the app then re install, obviously something iOS quite right?

Just while connected to home network press ‘refresh network data’ in app settings

No need to reinstall App

    Hello,

    Thanks for notifying us.

Firstly, why did you create the thread in Update 4.140 for HC2 as the issue concerns iOS devices and our app?

    Are these custom icons?

Did you try to refresh data or reinstall the app? Remember to do that in your local network where your gateway is connected to the Internet.

    Yes, these are custom icons.

I've been using HCL 4.130 with no problems w/ iPhone. Now using HC2 4.140 and icons are missing.

And I did try to uninstal iPhone app.

Okay, but you reinstalled it while connected to the same WiFi as Home Center and you connected to your Home Center via local connection as well?

Just for the first run, to download all icons locally.

    Yes, all was done locally.

Tried everything again. First time (again) no success, second time reinstalling / resyncing / adding HC2, it started to work (on iPhone).

Not sure what was wrong before.

Thanks for the fix on this...I just customized my first icon, and had to delete, then reinstall the

Fibaro app onto my iPhone to get the icon picked up.

    I had the same problem.

Maybe there is another way to solve this, but that's for another topic:

If I delete the iphone-app and reinstall it, the ID of my phone changes. And I use in a lot of scenes this ID to send push-notifications.

As said, I had the same problems concerning not showing custom-icons after adding new virtual devices. The basic icon was shown, no matter I refreshed, etc.

But here's how I solved it:

In settings, select "choose HC". Then you can choose from "disconnect" and someone other button to change settings (I use the Dutch language, so I don't know how this button is called in English).

My IP-field was empty, so I put in my local IP-adress of my HC2.

After saving, all the icons were correct. Including the custom-icons.

I hope this will work for you as well!

I have solved it today by deleting and reinstalling the app.

Refreshing network settings doesn't work for me.

The first post was posted in 2017 so two years later nothing changed :(

You have complicated the problem. Restarting or reinstalling the app can solve the problem.
