Powering UBS with led driver.

Hi,

 

I was wondering if I could power the Universal Binary Sensor with a 12v DC led driver?

The project I am working on requires me to put a temp sensor. And I have power behind some lightswitches that I could use.

The space behind the switches could accomodate an UBS and a Led driver. 

 

Would this work? Did someone try this?
