Room grouping

Question

Posted

Hello, I've added a new dimmer to one of my rooms, to replace a malfunctioning dimmer, to operate lights. I have a scene running that switches off all lights in this room at midnight.

I can't get my new dimmer to be included in this scene, so this one light stays on. What can be causing this? To my believe, it should be enough to have this module's Room set properly, under Advanced. Or are there other settings influencing the grouping of modules to be addressed in a scene?

Hi @bjbrink,

Could you provide more details:

- version of your Dimmer (full name and version),

- which Dimmer do you replace

- screenshot of a scene

Finally, is the new dimmer added to your room in HC as well, I mean both, physically and logically in Home Center software.
