battery status

Question

Posted

Hi!

today was "dead" my Fibaro Motion Sensor FGMS-001....
yesterday  HC2 API said 77% - today dead, while I not replaced with a new battery.

my question is - dear devs, ok, you can be all abroad on battery status with others devices... but FGMS-001 is "native" sensor for company...

how come?

Hi @10der,

This "dead" info is about dead node or dead battery?

It was possible that the module was quite far from the HC, the communication was obstructed and the module couldn't communicate its status properly.

Maybe you could try adding the device again and after that do the soft reconfiguration, after that the device should report its real battery status and should have knowledge about Z-Wave around it.
