What is local protection?

Can someone help me to understand what "local protection" with actions...screenshot attached.

Local protection when on stops the device from responding to local switch commands, ie disable the switch

In other words, it means that physical buttons won't override HC settings (when ON).

    It was added about the time of the FIBARO Keyfob release so even experienced users could be surprised ; )
