Aeon Labs Multisensor 6 and light timing

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi everyone

I have a multisensor 6 that I want to use as motion sensor for trigger on a light and then turn it off after 20secods

My problem is that when the sensor is breached than I have to wait about 90 second for my sensor to become safe again.... I can't find the parameter to set this time.

Thanks. Luca.

Luca,

There is a parameter for that for this device. It is parameter 3. In my case I have set it to 30 meaning that after 30 seconds of no motion the device will send the safe status to the controller. Please see below:

I have already set it to 30sec but I have to wait a minute and half to see the sensor become safe.

    I dont know why

After setting the parameter in the HC2 did you wakeup the device to get the new value ? If not it will only pick up when it wakes up at the wakeup interval.

    Is this the 111 parameter?

"The interval time of sending reports in Report group 1"

I have set it to 60sec

I was referring to the wake-up time as define in the advanced tab of the device, so for me an hour:

If you want to force the sensor to pick up changes, just press the button at the back of the sensor, it will then get and process the new settings...
