Using Insteon mini remotes to control HC2 through api?

AutoFrank

Question

Hi,

I was wondering of anybody has experience in using a insteon mini remote to control scenes and vd in the HC2 through the insteon api

This is what I am thinking about for workflow

They have two mini remotes (4 key and 8 key) that look well and have usb charging

The hub is abut $80 and supports their new api

I am looking for one way control (but an ack would be nice) from the Mini remotes to the HC2 using the api/http requests

The motivation is simple aesthetics. The best scene controller I can currently find is the ZRC90, which functions fine but doesn't look great

Thanks
