Since a couple of days i have a light which is occasionally switches on while this is not expected. I can not find out what triggers it.
I checked my scenes but can not see what may be the problem.
Any way i can see what the trigger is ?

ahh.. the holy grail of automation systems...no fraid not unless someone more education than me can point the way.

Check with support, they can peek at logfiles that are not accessible to an end-user.

Unfortunately, the sender might not be in any log file. Z-Wave allows device to device communication. So check associations.

A collision on the network can cause random turn-on too. It is rare. Reducing traffic might help.

And lastly... it might be an RGBW module. You are running the most recent firmware on all of them?

For sake of completeness: you can pay an installer to check your network. Some of them own a special tool to sniff the network. I am not an installer, so I tend to forget to talk about this option.

I have checked and i have currently no association running, no RGB module installed.

I think It  started since i have turned on the gps functionality.  I have a scene running that the light should switch on when i am in 100m range:

Can I make an educated guess... If your phone reports < 100 m when it is on GPS, it turns on the light. When your phone goes to sleep, it'll turn to a less precise mechanism to determine its location and it starts reporting random distances like 300 m, 90 m, 500 m, 50 m ...

I've only toyed a few times with distance reporting but here's my guess... You need some hysteresis. So I would make one scene that sets a global variable to "home" when d < 100 m. Make another one that sets the variable to "away" if d > 1000 m. Then base your lamp scene on the status of your variable. Now if your phone reports anything in between 100 and 1000, your lamp won't change state.

I am sorry I cannot be more precise, I am a "Lua only person". I really do not know how this graphic scene stuff works.
